Athena Olympiad is an outreach program to promote middle school and high school girls to pursue higher education in STEM fields by hosting annual events at UCI with hands-on, sustainable engineering activities. The program engages UCI Students, mainly engineering and science undergraduate students, to inspire and educate the next generation of scientists, engineers, and inventors.

This outreach program educates, engages, and empowers UCI Students and middle school and high school girls to be active agents of change for sustainability development through STEM and ultimately, grow up to be environmentally-conscious engineers and scientists.
